Frequently asked questions

How do I know if this wheelchair is right for my dog?

This wheelchair is designed for dogs with weak, injured or deformed front legs that still have enough strength in their back legs to stand and push the cart. If your dog struggles to support their front body, often collapses on the chest, or has been advised by a vet to use extra support, this type of cart can help. When in doubt, we recommend checking our size/fit guide and asking your vet for advice.

Will my dog still be able to go to the bathroom?

Yes. The cart is designed with an open rear area, so your dog can still pee and poop normally while using the wheelchair. You may need a little time to adjust the fit and observe your dog the first few times, but once the height and position are set correctly, most dogs can use the bathroom without any problem.

How long does it take for a dog to get used to the wheelchair?

Every dog is different. Some relax and start moving within a few minutes, while others need several days of short, supervised sessions. We suggest starting with 5–10 minute walks on flat, quiet surfaces and using treats and praise. As your dog becomes more confident and comfortable, you can slowly increase the time.

Can I use this cart indoors and outdoors?

Yes. The cart is suitable for both indoors and outdoors. The wheels are designed to roll smoothly on common surfaces like tile, wood floors, sidewalks and short grass. We recommend avoiding stairs, steep slopes and very rough terrain, and always supervising your dog while they’re in the wheelchair.

What if I choose the wrong size?

If you’re unsure after receiving the wheelchair, please contact us with your dog’s measurements and photos. In many cases we can improve the fit by adjusting the height, length and straps. If the size is still not suitable, we’ll guide you through our return or exchange options according to our current policy.
